About Me

The first third of my life was spent in academia. I studied classical languages and literature, with the intention of becoming a professor. After I grew disillusioned with the academy, I left and discovered a passion for wine, where I spent the next 14 years of my life and work. I didn’t know it at the time, but a wild and spiritual calling was beckoning me and, after heeding the call, I began walking the medicine path and my own healing journey. Working closely with teachers in Ralph Metzner’s lineage, I have spent nearly a decade working with plant medicines, learning all the attendant practices, skills and rituals that accompany this work, such as grief work and ancestral healing. My firm belief is that healing – at the highest level – is a spiritual project. As such, in my practice I have radical respect for each person’s own inner healing wisdom. This is bedrock of my practice. I hope I can share it with you.
